It's a self driving car from Tesla with improved traction and an all wheel drive system.
On October 9th, Elon Musk revealed to the world that they will have a self driving car platform with in a year. He refers to it as the Tesla D, and claims that the vehicle will be 90% capable of autopilot. The car will combine the use of varying sensors, image-recognition cameras, radars, and even possibly long-range ultrasonic. Google has already put this idea into action with over 100,000 miles covered by their self-driving Prius. The Tesla D’s release would mark the first self-driving consumer car available to the public. Not to mention it holds a few more ponies under the hood than its compact eco-conscious counterpart.
