This facial hair removal cream for women is quick, gentle, and effective for most unwanted hair in this area. The formula makes use of Maple Honey to assist with moisture retention in the skin.
This does an incredible job on most unwanted facial hair, but it's not super effective on coarse hair. A stronger treatment may be needed.
No matter how much we want to deny it, most women have some facial hair. And, its growth tends to pick up speed after menopause. Sigh... Fortunately, there are products like this one which will do a good job of removing unwanted hair from the upper lip, cheek, and jawline area. Now, this isn't the cheapest product, nor is it the best smelling. But, most users achieve excellent results - even on super sensitive skins. We think that's brilliant.
Ingredients: There's a rather long list of ingredients in this product, but no Potassium Thioglycolate, well not specifically. You'll find Potassium Thioglycolates of other natures. What you will find in this mix is Maple Honey, along with extracts from olives, cucumbers, papaya, and aloe. If a natural ingredient is soothing, it appears that they've thrown it in here.
How to use it: Start with clean dry skin. As with most facial hair removal creams, you'll want to apply this in a thick, even layer. Wait no more than four minutes before rinsing as thoroughly as you possibly can. Most users report needing to apply this hair removal cream every eight to ten days. That's three to four times in a month - and you probably don't want to overdo it.
Who can use it? This product is explicitly designed for women and seems to work remarkably well for post-menopausal women.
Where can you use it? As per the packaging and all instructions, you'll use this for the removal of unwanted facial hair. That doesn't mean that it won't work elsewhere (though the manufacturer isn't going to tell you that). It does mean, however, that you can't expect it to extract coarse arm hair as well as other products.
Scent: This is strong stuff; so when you're using this product you'll want to make sure a window is open - or at least the fans are on high and the door is open.
Will it break the bank? The single package includes one ounce of product for about $8. But, you'll pay $14 for three tubes. That's a little more affordable at a little more than $4.60 per fluid ounce. It's definitely not the cheapest product, but it's worth it for those that battle sensitive skins.
