Need a healthy, yet filling, meal that you can whip up in less than 20 minutes?  Hell yeah - especially if it’s super flavorful, right?  That’s exactly what you can expect from this pork chop recipe.  Want a bonus?  This recipe calls very few ingredients so you’ll hardly waste time (or money) at the grocery store.  As is, this recipe serves two people (or dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow), but you can easily double it to feed a family of 4.  You might just find this meal so delicious that you adapt it for cooking on the BBQ when the weather warms.



  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 each Pork chops, bone-in, about 1” thick and about 1/2 pound each
  • 2 small Peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 1 small Red onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil


Preheat your oven grill to medium-high heat. Coat a pan with a light cooking spray and set aside.

Mash salt and sage together in a small bowl (or, better still, with mortar and pestle). When well combined, rub this combination over pork chops. Place the chops on the prepared tray and place under the pre-heated grill. Cook and until slightly charred and cooked through (that’s about 7-8 minutes a side). Allow your pork chops to rest before serving.

Meanwhile, combine the peaches, onion and oil in another (small) grill-proof pan. Cook under the grill for 3-5 minutes (while pork chops rest).

Serve pork with the peaches and onions - and perhaps a green salad if you feel the need for more food.
