The last thing you want to do when your flight has been grounded is to lose your cool.  Besides being horribly undignified, it's simply not going to help.  Be polite to everyone you come into contact with - it'll get you a lot further.  Do you really want to make a bad experience even worse?

When you do get to chat with an airline representative, smile and provide as many options as you can think of for rerouting or rebooking you.  If you can hold on for a few days or cancel your booking for a refund, state this immediately to make the process faster.  And, remember, it's really no one's fault that you're stuck on the ground; it's the weather.  An angry attitude will just make you look bad.
