Even though you're not making wishlists for Santa any more, it doesn't mean list making isn't important over the holidays. Lists will help you focus on what you need to do, and what you need to get to avoid last-minute panics and frustration.
Make a list for your holiday plans. List out the places you're going to go, how to see all important family members, and what to buy. This way, you won't leave anyone out and you can visually see how much time you are spending with your families. Lists also help you even out your time over the holiday season. Neither of you will feel like one family was neglected by how you both spent your time and your money.
