L’Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream

Best Anti-Inflammatory Foot Cream

Why people love it
  • Expect super soft feet
  • An almost heavenly aroma
  • Super effective and non-greasy

Not only is this foot cream an InStyle award winner, it’s infused with natural anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal ingredients to heal and prevent further issues. It also absorbs wonderfully quickly.

That price makes it difficult for some people to justify it.

This is a heavy-duty, super powerful cream if there ever was one. Many nurses use it on the hands that they must wash a gazillion times a day and it’s the foot cream of choice for extreme hikers. That should tell you how powerful it is.

We really and truly appreciate just how quickly this foot cream is absorbed into the skin and it’s totally non-greasy which makes it easy to apply at any time of the day, making it a rare breed of cream (hand or foot) to achieve this task so well. And, it smells so good at the same time.

And, if you need another reason to pay this much for a foot cream, consider the added arnica which naturally reduces inflammation and bruising. That along with the lavender and shea butter make for the powerful combination that will leave your feet visibly and touchably soft, whatever the weather.

Key ingredients: The lavender oil does more than smell good, it’s a natural anti-fungal that enhances circulation and fights inflammation. There’s also shea butter and mint, and, of course, the anti-inflammatory – arnica.

Hypoallergenic: No

APMA-approved: No

Paraben-free: Yes

Animal-friendly: So, L’Occitane doesn’t do any animal testing, but they do sell their products in China and they are tested on animals upon entering that company. It’s a bit of a shame.

Fragrance: It’s a lovely, light, and clean lavender smell that most people flip for.

Application: Because this is seriously non-greasy and absorbs fast, you can apply it whenever you want – and that includes before you strap on some sandals for the beach. Very few foot creams can manage that task as well as this one.

Package size: The standard size is a 5.2-ounce luxury tube. But, we totally appreciate the 1-ounce tube for travelling (you know, when you often want your feet to look their best).

Cost: There’s no hiding from the price on this foot cream. Not even a little. It’s about $30 for a little more than 5 ounces. Ouch, that works out to more than $5.50 per ounce. It’s not the most expensive, but it’s not in everyone’s budget.

Bottom line: Not everyone is going to pay this much for a foot cream. If it were more affordable, more people would be using it, because it is a powerful softener and feels incredible on your feet. It’s that non-greasy blend of anti-inflammatory ingredients. Amazing.
