- Well-built and easy to assemble
- The heat feels amazing
In addition to the glorious heat this provides, it’s solid and easy to assemble. The LED controller is a big help and the ankle supports are super comfortable.
Not easy to fold and move on its own.
Anyone suffering with extreme back pain knows just how powerful heat can be in treating it. Really. The number of heating pads to be found in homes should say it all. And, this baby can heat up to 140ºF for a default max 40 minute session.
But, it does take some time to heat up, so you’ll probably want to get that going first. However, the LED controller does give you some flexibility over the temperature mid-session. But, you don’t get any readouts on it, so you’ll need to spend some time getting used to the operation.
Of course, the heat is really only the most obvious benefit of this inversion table. It’s perhaps one of the most comfortable ones on the market, with or without the warmth. And, that goes for the angles too.
There are three different starting angles and you can invert fully. Interestingly, there is a setting that makes this safe for users up to 6’9”, which is perhaps the max available without going for a custom job. But, you won’t be able to maximize the heat, so think about it first.
Additionally, it takes about an hour to set up, the instructions are clear and concise – and the parts are properly labeled. One more thing we need to mention is the folding and storage of this table. It’s relatively simple to fold together by pushing the back legs next to each other, but you’ll need to lay it against a wall or on the floor to keep it that way. It’s really quite heavy though, so moving it around isn’t a joy.
Still, if you have intense, chronic back pain, you probably should start your search with this machine.
Durability: The frame is made of powder-coated, heavy-duty steel – it’s scratch resistant too. The ribbed foam is 2.5” thick and provides soothing heat through ultra-thin carbon fibers to the back (but not the neck) area.
Safety: There are more than a few safety features here and it has ETL (but not UL) certification. Above all, it includes rubber non-skid stabilizers and extra-long safety handles to return to an upright position. Plus, there are ankle locks to help you maintain yourself in any position.
Ankle comfort and support: The ankle supports are comfortably padded and most users can lock them into place without too much stretching and bending. And, there’s a quick release ratchet ankle locking system.
Height and weight limits: It will take the standard max height of 6’6”, but can accommodate a little more weight than average at 300 pounds.
Dimensions: Assembled: 49”L x 26”W x 65”H. When packed, it measures 80”H x 26”W x 17”D.
Price: If you suffer from extreme back pain, this inversion table may offer just what you need. It's not too pricey, has a 1-year warranty on mechanical defects, and offers that nifty infrared heating to target your lower back. Totally worth a try!
