Details

It’s the volcanic minerals in this formula that provide the exfoliating benefits and we rather like that. Of course, we don’t think the thickness they provide makes it ideal for hair washing, but the manufacturers think it’s not a problem.

One of the best things about this body wash for men is the fragrance it carries. It’s strong enough to last (on the body and in the bathroom), but it’s hardly an overpowering scent. That said, it’s difficult to place the scent other than to say it’s “clean.” And, it’s a really nice clean – even if it comes from artificial fragrances.

Additionally, this does seem to fight odor-causing bacteria as it exfoliates which means users continue to smell great for a long time. We would have liked it to be a little less expensive, but we’ll get over it.

Skin type: It’s designed for men – and it works for all skin types.

Scent: It’s really difficult to describe the aroma of this body wash, except that it’s clean – in a terrific way. Indeed, it’s quite a strong clean smell; you could pretend you just washed the bathroom if someone’s just taken a shower with this.

Parabens: No

Sulphates: Yes

Added fragrance: Yes

Cruelty-free: No

Ease of application: It is rather thick and rich, but it lathers well even if it feels like you need to use a fair amount of it at first.

Package size: 18 fl.oz.

Price: You’ll pay about $8 for 18 ounces. That’s about 45 cents per ounce. It’s on the pricey side of body washes, which is why, perhaps, it’s not already been tried and tested by everyone.
