Most User-Friendly Drip Coffee Maker
Simple, easy to use, stainless steel thermal carafe keeps your coffee warm, pre-infusion setting included, maintains the ideal water temperature for a perfect brew, one-button operation, quick brewing, compact design
Iffy design, with the brew basket sitting atop the coffee carafe
Size and Appearance:
If you want sleek and stylish, this is the coffee maker for you. It’s a bit bigger than your average drip coffee maker, but not so large that it takes up all your counter space. The stainless steel carafe holds six cups of coffee at a time.
The machine is designed with the brew basket sitting atop the carafe, so to serve yourself coffee, you have to remove the brew basket before pulling out the carafe. An inefficient design that forces you to clean the brew basket before you can drink, but not a deal breaker.
The brewing process is automatic—one touch of a button and you’re ready to go. There are no settings to mess with or features to speak of, and it’s a “bare bones” coffee maker that just knows how to make a great cup of coffee every time. You’ll get a full pot of coffee in about 5 minutes, but it will be a delicious, piping hot pot that will make your day wonderful.
There are no programmable features or timers built into this machine, and you just get one on/off button to work with. However, the built-in shower head will ensure excellent saturation of the coffee beans, and the pre-infusion feature will help to unlock the flavors of the coffee. Plus, the heating element keeps the water at the ideal coffee brewing temperature of 195 to 205 degrees F, ensuring a flavorful brew every time.
For a high-end coffee maker, the $120 price tag is pretty reasonable. It’s not as versatile as our top-rated Fave, but it’s definitely a machine that knows how to put out a great cup of coffee with every brew.
