When going for a run, everyone needs a durable but lightweight armband to hold an iPhone or iPod in place. We like this one by Adidas as it's lightweight nylon, easy to adjust the band to fit your arm size. Also, it has a built-in key holder. Plus, the armband wicks moisture away for comfort.

Finding the right pair of sunglasses for running is always a challenge. You want to look cool without negating your run. These Half Jacket sunglasses by Oakley do both! Plus, they're made with components that increase grip when you sweat. They'll wrap your vision while providing clarity and protection from the rays.

What Reviewers Say:

  • Best fit ever. This is the only pair that does not look giant on my smallest ever face. Also looks cool on normal people :)
And the lenses are perfect, the shining effect when looking at a phone screen is really impressive. I was afraid about the plastic parts, i saw many of them shifted in flak jacket models but the style on these avoid the defect.
  • If you're willing to shell out a few extra bucks for a pair of sunglasses, these are the ones to get. Opt for polarized over non-polarized. It's maybe $40 extra but totally worth it. Like many others have said, they are incredibly light and you often forget they're on your face. I bike with these all the time and they're great for that. They stay in place even when you're pouring sweat, which is certainly appreciated on long hot rides.
  • bought these last spring because i lost my old $20 pair. been loving them ever since, great sunglasses, very durable and scratch resistant. have no regrets for paying around $150.

We love this sport watch by Garmin because it's so easy to use. It's button operated and great for tracking your progress. Monitor your health, track your progress and use this sports watch to keep on top of your workouts.

What Reviewers Say:

  • Very good GPS watch, very fun and easy to use - highly recommend for anyone who wants to make running more fun, or who is as fascinated by data as I am.
  • I run about 80-90kms (50-55 miles) a week, mixed terrain, and I travel to different locations. The GPS works well and finds a satellite quickly (within a minute, two at most), and seems to be very accurate in terms of distance. I like the shut-off feature, which allows me to save the battery when I'm not using it. It's comfortable, easy to use (simpler than the 405), and has everything I need (pace, distance, etc). Unlike the 405, the 210 seems to be water-resistant for a typical run-in-the-rain degree of wetness.
  • For long-distance runners looking for GPS watches, the Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Sport Watch with Heart Rate Monitor will not disappoint. Right out of the box, all runners will immediately enjoy the simplicity, quality, and appearance of this watch. The Garmin Forerunner 210, allows for the recording of time, pace, and distance, which is perfect when training for races.

The Polo Tech shirt uses silver threads to power the many sensors installed in the shirt to track your progress. You can track your heart rate, breathing rate, breathing depth and stress levels. Viewing these stats is simple thanks to an iPhone app. Unfortunately, these are still early days and this is not available for purchase right now. Hopefully very soon!
