You can grow basil, mint, parsley, spinach, baby greens or other great foods right on top of a fish tank. Using the science of aquaponics the Aqua Farm transforms your fish's waste into nutrients for the plants, then, the plants clean the fish's water. Everybody is happy! No soil or fertilizer is needed.

What Reviewers Say:

  • This seems to be becoming a love it or hate it item, though I'm not sure why. Yes, it has/had some flaws, but it's still a unique and worthwhile item.
  • I have always liked the idea of having a small ecosystem in my own home. Before I decide to venture on something bigger, I have decided to try this one out. The quality is more than satisfying and its small size makes it easy to put anywhere you want. My plan was to keep it in my kitchen so I can grow fresh spices. I really liked the idea of being able to put in a fish or two in it. Just so the aquarium part of this mini ecosystem doesn't feel left out I found LUFFY ball The overall green that was dominating from top and bottom really improved the notion of the ecosystem idea. This is really a great product if you like having nature in your home.
  • I bought this for my bf for his love of aquaponics, he loves it! It is a great size and not too much maintenance for the yield.

Not all gardens need to be horizontal. In fact, sometimes it's better when it's on the wall. Just fill the cells with the herb of your choice, and water as needed through the top irrigator; the hidden collector tray catches excess runoff. Vertical wall-mounted planter with 10 planting cells. Moisture mat technology ensures even distribution of water throughout cells. Chalkboard paint finish on border allows you to label the herbs.

Let's be honest, not everyone thinks about their indoor plants... but that doesn't mean they don't love the way they look. These planters are available in 5 different colors and they hold the necessary water for 2 weeks. That means you only need to add water 26 times a year. If you can't handle that... well... maybe you need a service (or plastic plants.

What Reviewers Say:

  • Does just that, keeps the water there sufficient for two weeks, looks neat and I really like the water level window.
  • My poor little office plant is now thriving! It does what it says it does... keeps your plant appropriately watered for at least two weeks! It is a beautiful design, and looks expensive. The little water level window is sheer genius! When I go away for two weeks, I know I won't come back to a dead plant. LOVE IT!
  • Went looking for a truly plant friendly planter and found this...
Took a little searching to find the explanation video and website
but it was worth it. Bought it.. went to the pet store for some
aquarium gravel and transplanted my poor rootbound ivy.
Have you ever heard a plant giggle... this is a fabulous design.

It's true, you won't be able to fit many plants in this terrarium, nor can you plant a wide variety. But a couple of these will make an incredible statement in your home or office. And, if your cacti die, you can always replace them with candles. Score.

What Reviewers Say:

  • gorgeous piece. alot larger than I was expecting but for the price I was happy it wasn't as small as I thought it would be. Love it. Looks wonderful with my large airplant
  • I love this terrarium, but one thing that I just can't stand is the smell of the metal! It came with a very nice soft cloth that you can use to clean the glass, but you'll notice that after wiping down the terrarium on the inside along the edges will leave black marks on the cloth. There are a few small gaps in between the black edges, but luckily they aren't big enough for the pebbles to fall out. Overall, it's a nice glass terrarium if you can deal with that annoying smell that can stick to your hands.
  • This is really cute! I just have it on a tray - not hanging - but I bet it would look great in front of a window or something, too.

This is a brilliant idea. And, it's little wonder that this is an Amazon #1 Bestseller in Plant Grow Bags. It's easy to install and environmentally friendly. Plus it means you can have flowering plants or fresh produce all year long.

What Reviewers Say:

  • I think this is a great way to grow plants in a limited space. It took an 8 qt. bag of potting soil to fill it initially (FYI- an 8 qt. bag of potting soil is about 15" high and 12" wide) - and I planted parsnip, thyme, yarrow, parsley, dill, fennel, and mustard. That's where I was at the time I snapped these pictures. Then, I decided it really did need more soil. I added another bag. If you get about 16 qt. of potting soil, that will be plenty to completely fill all 7 pockets. I hung it over my gate with string - it works. 5 feet of vertical space is not taking up much usable space and once it gets growing, I'll have fresh herbs + it will add beauty and more personality to my patio. This would probably also be a good way to start plants off and for cuttings.
  • This is a nice long planter and the pockets are nice and deep as well. I love that the materials are eco friendly and non-toxic, and the whole thing is wonderfully made. The pouches really do retain water perfectly and all of my plants seem to be thriving so far! The hanging design is just awesome and so unique. It's very functional and looks great as well! I love how many plants it can fit without taking up too much space. I've loved this planter so much that I'm thinking of buying one for my mom as well.
  • This Ambitious Walnut 7-pocket XL Vertical Garden Planter is absolutely an amazing design.  I installed it in the wall near my front balcony, after moving some small potted plants there, it looks awesome.

The adjustable planter fits 2” to 4” rails and is made of strong, durable, heavy-duty plastic. Also contains UV protection, limiting sun and water damage and ensuring its colors will last for years. Also includes built-in draining solutions which are removable, cleanable & replaceable trays.

What Reviewers Say:

  • Very nice planters. Well made, attractive. They look beautiful on the balcony railing. I believe that they should last for a while. They attach very securely to a railing and will not fall. I tested mine when we had 50 mile / hour winds. All planters were very securely attached to the railing even though some still did not have soil in them. If you live in condominium just make sure you have an intelligent , open minded board of managers that will see the beauty, safe design and functionality of Greenbo planters and will allow you to use them on the railing of your balcony. My board of managers are close minded, one track minded idiots " and even after I provided the safety info about the product they forbid me from using those planters on the railing because they are overlapping on the outside of the balcony railing. Those are beautiful, safely designed, modern planters that will present your plants Beautifully on both the inside and outside of your balcony. Highly recommend😀 Greenbo takes rail planters to the next level. Thumbs up
  • These great looking planters went on the railings of my second floor balcony. The top of the rails are not flat so the planters have a gap between rail and bottom of planter. However, they are made to fit a few different sizes and they sit pretty well on ours despite the small gap. We keep them snugly attached with strong zip ties that in no way will a strong wind knock them down. the planters are filled with flowers and trailing Vincas. We are constantly getting compliments on how pretty they look when the neighbors pass by. FYI, they come in a set of two. Mine are white and match perfectly with our white vinyl railings. My only recommendation is that it would be even more perfect if the manufacturer would pre-drill the holes for inserting the zip ties. Because of their design, it was somewhat difficult to drill the holes. Otherwise we just love these planters and are very satisfied with the purchase and fast delivery. Thanks Greenbo!
  • Love 'me, can't get enough of the. Expensive e, but worth it.

Up there... out of the way, what better place to plants some plants? The Boskke Sky Planter lets you do just that. These innovative planters hang from your ceiling. They are designed to hold standard indoor potting mix and to retain enough water for up to two weeks. Bonus! They also help purify the air! And these babies are made from recycled plastic. You're just helping the planet all over the place, aren't you?

What Reviewers Say:

  • It actually works - I had it for couple of weeks now, and it's cool so far. I like the water gauge on top, but you better keep it low hung, other wise, it would be hard to see it from close. The initial settlement of dirt can be somewhat dusty... I'd recommend covering the bottom up with stones, or something to help close up the bottom from the dirt to fall out. It doesn't make too much of mess initially as I thought...
  • I love mixing things up with the plant service I provide my clients. This planter is a fabulous conversational piece. Each time people see an orchid (which grows extremely well in it) - upside down they always comment. Some like it some don't. The contrast of seeing something growing upside down from the normal right side up challenges our beliefs about things. I'm ordering more in the near future.
  • Just got this and repotted my plant today. The pot works great and the concept is solid. I would like to have had it come with a spare mesh or two (for soil retention). I had to modify the one it comes with for my plant and if I ever want to put anything else in here I'll have to find/make my own repalcement... I'll probably use plastic canvas (for needlepoint projects) when the time comes, though. We'll see how it does over time and how my plants respond, but I definitely have high hopes for this well made/designed product.
