- Amazingly effective (at top speed)
- Often recommended by dermatologists and podiatrists
- Perfect for dry, cracked feet
This foot cream is one of just a few that carry an American Podiatric Medical Association seal of approval, which is likely why so many recommend it. It works fast to clear up dry, cracked skin – and it’s one of the best for sensitive skins.
No one loves the smell and there are no added fragrances. Additionally, there are parabens in this formula.
We’re not going to tell you that this foot cream smells good or that you’ll feel like you’re at a spa when you use it because it doesn’t and you won’t. You will, however, experience noticeable results rather quickly – and you shouldn’t expect a single side effect because it is formulated to avoid any sort of irritation.
As one of just a handful of foot creams with the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) seal of approval, you’re going to find quality inside every tube. That means something if you’ve been battling chapped, cracked feet for some time.
The formula is non-greasy, and free of gluten and added fragrances – which is one of the reasons it smells so… um… not good. But if you’re really suffering, we advise you to get over the scent. Luckily, it absorbs quickly and most people save it for their feet so the smell isn't a huge issue.
Key ingredients: The manufacturers call it an “Ultraplex Formulation.” Basically, that means there are lots of lactates that really and truly transform your skin. But, you should know that there is also some alpha-hydroxy acid that can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Be sure to apply sunscreen if you’re wearing sandals – and especially if you use it anywhere else.
Fragrance: There aren’t any added fragrances to disguise the somewhat awful natural smell of this foot cream. Thankfully, it goes on your feet.
Application: They say to apply it twice daily, and indeed you should. Thankfully, it’s remarkably non-greasy and absorbs quickly, so you shouldn’t experience trouble doing so.
Package size: It comes in a 3-ounce tube and Amazon does offer a 2-pack for those of you that can’t live without it.
Cost: You should pay a little less than $10 for the 3-ounce tube which means it’s more than $3 per ounce. That’s not the best, but it’s far from the worst.
Bottom line: If most skin care products cause your skin to suffer other irritations, you’re going to want to give this product a try (and there is a good chance your doctor has already recommended it). It’s a strong yet gentle, no frills formula and it truly works.
